Installation

Download, integrity verification, Windows and macOS install, updates, and uninstall.

Download & license

  1. Sign in to your GoldMind portal.
  2. Confirm you have an active Trial, Business, or Lifetime license for the OS and trading platform you need.
  3. Download the official installer for that OS. Use only portal downloads — unofficial builds are unsupported.
  4. Keep your license key private. One license = one OS + one trading platform + one active device.

Windows installation

  1. Run the official GoldMind Setup executable from your portal download.
  2. Allow the installer to verify package integrity (RSA-SHA256 manifest). Do not continue if verification fails.
  3. When prompted, select the MetaTrader 5 and/or cTrader terminals to register (multi-terminal selection if more than one MT5 is found).
  4. Complete installation. Default install root is under Local AppData (GoldMind AI).
  5. MT5 receives the compiled Expert Advisor; cTrader receives the GoldMindRobot.algo package when that path is selected.
  6. Optional: start the local AI Gateway scripts if you plan to use AI explanations.

macOS installation

A macOS MT5 package path exists. Host environment verification may still be pending on your machine (native MT5 and/or Wine-based setups). cTrader Automate is not offered on macOS — choose Windows + cTrader if you need that platform.

  • Use the official macOS package from your portal when your license OS is macOS.
  • Python 3.10+ may be required for installer integrity verification and the AI Gateway.
  • If Gatekeeper blocks the installer helper, follow the on-screen guidance for approved signed packages only.
  • After install, attach GoldMindAI on MetaTrader 5 with Kill Switch ON.

Updates

Install updates only from your GoldMind portal using the official installer for your licensed OS. After updating cTrader packages, stop and restart the cBot instance so the new .algo load is applied. Do not mix files from unofficial sources.

Uninstall

  1. Remove GoldMind from charts / stop cBot instances in your trading terminal.
  2. Use the official uninstaller or remove the GoldMind AI install directory as documented in the package README.
  3. Optionally remove registered EA/cBot artifacts from your terminal folders if you will not reinstall.
  4. Deactivate the device from your GoldMind portal before activating on a different computer (same OS and platform scope).
